Roasted Bell Pepper Hummus (Gluten Free)

Why buy hummus when you can make your own, fresh and delicious? A lot of the hummus on the market contains preservatives. Hummus is a dish with Middle Eastern roots, used as an appetizer or dip for foods.

2 cups chickpeas

1/2 roasted bell pepper

2 Tbsp tahini

2 cloves garlic

1 tsp paprika

2 Tbsp chopped onion

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil or liquid from cooked chickpeas

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp sea salt

I broil my bell pepper in oven, you may roast it instead. Set aside. Place ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth. Serve.
