Jamaican Spice Bun Recipe

– 2 cups all-purpose gluten-free flour – 1 cup organic cane sugar – 2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds – 1 tablespoon baking powder – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg – 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1 1/4 cup almond milk – 1/4 cup sunflower oil – 3 tablespoons molasses – 2 teaspoons vanilla – 1 1/2 cups dried fruits

Preheat oven

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a baking pan with parchment paper.


Mix dry ingredients

Mix dry ingredients including gluten-free all-purpose flour, sugar, flaxseeds, baking powder, spices, and salt.


Combine wet ingredients

Combine wet ingredients including almond milk, sunflower oil, and vanilla, and mix into the dry ingredients to form a batter.



Bake for 60-75 minutes, prepare the glaze, spread it on the warm spiced bun, and cool completely.
