Kastoree Mango:

Kastooree mangoes resemble huge plums rather than mangoes. They can only be found on very huge trees.

The little Kastooree mangoes are usually circular, but towards the stem have a slight kidney shape. Kastooree mangoes are green while they are young, but as they mature, their smooth skin takes on a purplish color and eventually turns a deep purple to practically black color.
