Strawberry Kiwi Smoothie
I love having smoothies for breakfast, especially when I have a busy morning. This recipe is quick, easy, and nourishing. I love to freeze extra fruits to add to smoothies and it is a sure handy way preventing fruits going bad, especially when there is excess. I also like to make my smoothies without sweetener, therefore I love the addition of sweet fruits such as bananas, mangos, or fresh juices to my smoothies. Strawberry and kiwi blends well and is rounded of by the sweetness of a bananas. Enjoy this smoothie first thing in the morning to supercharge your energy, or to replace a meal. One might be wondering what’s the difference between smoothie and juices. Fruit and vegetable juices are the pure plant liquids, the fiber has been removed. Smoothies contain all the fibers of the entire raw fruit and vegetables. I like to drink fruit and vegetable juices when I’m on a strict detoxification program and when I’m looking for quicker results. For maintenance, I love to have smoothies on a daily basis. The fiber in the smoothie keeps you full, is beneficial for digestion, and prevents constipation.

Do you think it would ruin the smoothie if i replaced water with milk?
Taylor, I believe it would be fine to replace the water.
I pinned this before even reading the recipe knowing I’d love it. And what a simple, refreshing recipe too! I also like using water in my smoothies to keep the calories low and to be able to really taste the fruit.
Thanks Toni, I hope you enjoy it. I also use water at times :)
Kiwi must taste amazing in this! I crave a fruit green smoothie every day, can’t wait to try this!
It really does Gwen, hope you try it soon!
Oh I love me some strawberry smoothie! I really like that you added kiwi – I haven’t ever tried that before, but I’m sure it gives the whole thing a nice little zing. Definitely pinning this so I can make it for breakfast!
Alyssa, the kiwi gives it a nice zing depending on the tartness. I hope you enjoy it!
