Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F. Cut each potato into half and then into quarters lengthwise. Cut each quarter into slices about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Place potatoes in a medium bowl, add cold water and let it sit for an hour to remove the excess starch.
  • Drain potatoes and dry them with a clean towel or paper towel.
  • Place in a medium bowl and toss with olive oil to coat. Add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and salt to taste. Toss fries well to fully coat.
  • Lightly spray or brush the base of the air fryer basket with oil. Arrange potatoes in a single layer at the bottom of the basket.
  • Cook potatoes for 8 minutes, then turn and cook for 5 minutes or until fries are crisp and golden brown.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
