Blueberry lemonade

It’s summer and the blueberry season is here! Hooray! It is the time where we can enjoy the wonderful blueberries. We can make a lot of exciting snacks, desserts, and refreshing blueberry lemonade drinks with these.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar or cane sugar
  • Ice Blueberries and Mint Leaves, for garnishing

Instructions

  • Squeeze lemons to about ½ cup lemon juice and set aside.
  • Wash blueberries, add to a high-speed blender with water, and process until smooth.
  • Strain blueberry mixture into a pitcher, using a fine-mesh strainer or a nut-milk bag.
  • Add lemon juice to the blueberry mixture and sweeten to taste.
  • You can put the drink in the refrigerator to cool it. Then, for serving immediately, you can put some ice cubes and pour the blueberry lemonade.
  • You can add some mint leaves or blueberries or lemon slices to garnish it and serve!
