Ingredients

  • 2 large green plantains
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Line the baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray. Set aside.
  • Peel plantain and cut into matchsticks. Toss with coconut oil.
  • Combine onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and cayenne pepper in a bowl, mix well.
  • Toss seasoning blend with plantain
  • Place plantain fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, turning halfway. When golden brown and crispy, they are done. Serve warm.
