Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds bell peppers
  • baking sheet
  • freezer bags

Instructions

  • Make sure your peppers are thoroughly rinsed and dried. Next, cut the peppers in half and remove the seeds and white parts inside. After that, cut your bell peppers into strips. Make sure your peppers are dried before using them.
  • Flash freezing your bell peppers is the next step. On a tray, arrange your pepper pieces in a single layer, preferably not touching one another. After you've frozen the tray for an hour or more, remove it from the freezer.
  • Once your peppers are frozen, please place them in a freezer bag with the date written on it. Make sure there is no air left inside, seal tightly, and place it in the freezer.
  • Use the frozen peppers straight from the freezer anywhere a cooked recipe calls for fresh bell peppers.
