Ingredients

  • 1 12 ounce bag fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger

Instructions

  • Sort and wash cranberries, add to a saucepan with crushed pineapple with juice, water, sugar, ginger and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to simmer until cranberries pop and sauce thickens, about 10 minutes.
  • Stir frequently and keep an eye on it to prevent it from burning.
  • Take the pan off the heat and allow it to cool. Keep refrigerated until serving.
