Cucumber Detox Water

This Cucumber Detox Water is a great way to stay hydrated, while not adding too much sugar to your diet, like most juices and sodas. It also has positive effects on your health, and isn't a bitter chore to drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber cut into pieces
  • 2 pears cored and cut into pieces
  • 2 kiwis peeled and cut into pieces
  • 1- inch piece ginger peeled
  • 2 limes
  • 1/4 cup organic cane sugar or your preferred sweetener
  • 2 quarts water sparkling or still
  • Extra fruit cut into pieces (optional)

Instructions

  • Boil one cup of water on the stove, and add your sugar. Mix until completely dissolved and set aside.
  • Add all your fruit and ginger to a blender and process until liquid. Arrange a nut milk bag or cheesecloth over the container, pour in a quarter of the fruit liquid, and squeeze until the contents are dry and crumbly. Repeat until you're finished.
  • Add sugar mixture and sparking or still water until your container is full. Stir to incorporate fully, add any cut fruit, and stick in your fridge. Stay hydrated!
