Ingredients

  • 4 cups filtered water or coconut water
  • 1 cup ginger
  • 1 medium lemon juiced
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup to sweeten to taste

Instructions

  • Scrub the ginger roots properly, you can leave the skin on or peel
  • In a high-speed blender jug, pour water.
  • Add ginger and lemon juice.
  • Start the blender and process until you get a smooth texture.
  • Strain juice using a fine sieve, nut milk bag, or tea towel, to strain the juice.
  • Pour the juice into a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  • To serve, pour 1/4 cup of ginger juice in a glass. Add 1 cup of water and sweeten with your favorite sweetener to taste
