Ingredients

  • 4 cups pineapple cut into thin strips or chunks
  • 2 inch section fresh ginger peeled
  • 2 inch section fresh turmeric peeled
  • pinch of black pepper or cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

Juicer Instructions

  • Scrub your pineapple, cut off the top leaves. Peel pineapple, cut into strips that are able to fit into the mouth of your juicer.
  • Scrub ginger and turmeric and cut into pieces that are able to fit into your juicer.
  • Push the pineapple, ginger, and turmeric through the mouth of the juicer.
  • Add a pinch of black pepper or cayenne pepper and stir.
  • To serve, pour 1/4 cup of the turmeric shot into glasses. Enjoy!

Blender Instructions

  • Scrub and peel pineapple, ginger, and turmeric.
  • Chop them into small chunks.
  • Add pineapple first to your blender, I like to use a High-Speed Blender, process pineapple, then add the ginger and turmeric and blend.
  • If you are using a regular blender, add a little water to get things blending smoothly.
  • Strain through a Nut Milk Bag or a fine-mesh strainer.
  • To serve, pour 1/4 cup of the turmeric shot into glasses. Enjoy!
