Equipment

  • 1 freezer bag

Ingredients

  • 4 avocados
  • 1 lemon juice

Instructions

Freeze Avocado Halves

  • Cut the avocado in half, remove the core, and remove the skin. Drizzle them with lemon juice.
  • Now the two halves can be wrapped in freezer wrap or placed in an airtight container and frozen.

Freeze Avocado Pieces

  • Cut a pitted and peeled avocado into cubes or slices, drizzle with lemon juice, then place them on a plate or sheet pan in the freezer for about 15 minutes so that they are slightly frozen.
  • Now, you can transfer to a freezer bag or freezer container, and place in the freezer until you are ready to use the avocado.

Freeze Avocado Puree

  • Cut, core, and peel the avocados. Place into the blender with a liberal drizzle of lemon juice. Blend until smooth. You can also mash them with a fork.
  • Pour into ice cube trays and freeze until hard. You can leave them in the trays or you can transfer them to freezer bags.
