  • 1 butternut squash about 2 lbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon coconut sugar (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Gently spray or brush a baking sheet with oil. Set aside.
  • Peel the butternut squash and cut into even strips, toss with oil, and place in a large bowl
  • In a separate, smaller bowl, mix all the seasonings.
  • Toss seasonings with fries evenly to coat.
  • Place fries on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 30 minutes, turning after 15 minutes, or until crispy!
  • Deliciously served with ketchup or on its own.
