Ingredients

  • 8 ounces jicama peeled and cut into matchstick size
  • 1 tablespoon avocado or olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • lime

Instructions

  • Wash the jicama and cut it into matchsticks. Make sure the matchsticks have ¼ inch thickness.
  • Place the Jicama sticks in a medium bowl.
  • Add olive oil, garlic powder, paprika powder, cayenne powder, and salt, and mix well using your hand so that the seasonings cover the matchsticks equally.
  • Place the Jicama sticks on the air-fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 12-15 minutes at 400 degrees F; halfway into the cook, flip the sticks.
  • Once they get a golden-brown color, squeeze with half of a lime and serve alongside your favorite dip.
