Orange Lemonade

I'm continuing adding on to my favorite summer drinks with this deliciously tart Orange Lemonade. Enjoy this citrusy drink all year-round!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 oranges
  • 4 lemons
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 inch peeled ginger
  • 1/2 cup agave nectar or maple syrup, etc.
  • fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  • Peel the oranges and lemons, and remove the seeds.
  • Cut them both into chunks, and add to the bender, along with water and ginger. Process until the mixture attains smoothness.
  • Strain this lemonade with a fine strainer, or you can use a nut milk bag to strain it into a jug.
  • Add the sweetener to the lemonade.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Garnish with mint and serve while cool.
