Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Swiss chard
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Wash Swiss chard, stack leaves, and cut the leaves 1/2 inch crosswise.
  • Heat avocado oil or ¼ cup vegetable broth in a large saucepan on medium-high heat.
  • Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic, stirring. Cook until onions are translucent.
  • Stir in Swiss Chard, cover, and cook for 3-5 minutes or until tender.
