Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 4 stalks of celery washed and chopped into 2-inch pieces.
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

For the sauce if making from scratch

  • 5 pounds of Tomatoes
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil or olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 garlic clove halved
  • 1 basil sprig
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add celery, and cook until tender, about 3 minutes.
  • Then, add garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, cilantro or parsley, tomato sauce, water, and soy sauce. Cook constantly, stirring for about 3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, stir in sesame oil, and serve.

For the sauce

  • Cut each tomato half horizontally, take out the seeds and discard. Mash the tomatoes in the grater and take the pulp of tomatoes into a bowl.
  • Pour the prepared tomato pulp into a wide saucepan at a high temperature. Add olive oil, tomato paste, basil, garlic, and bay leaf. Bring it to a boil and lower the temperature to a brisk simmer.
  • Let the sauce reduce to almost half and stir it occasionally. To achieve 2 1/2 cups of medium-thick sauce, you need about 10 to 15 minutes. Taste and adjust the salt and flavor of your choice.
