Day 6 of Juicing: Homemade V8 Juice

This delicious raw juice is a much healthier version of the store bought pasteurized version. This raw version is full of nourishing vitamins, minerals and living enzymes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 beet
  • ½ red bell pepper
  • 6 carrots
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 stalks celery
  • a handful of spinach
  • ¼ cup onion, diced
  • 1 garlic clove
  • sea salt to taste (opt)
  • cayenne pepper (opt)

Directions:

Wash and chop ingredients in order to fit in the juicer feed. Juice and drink immediately.

  4. DeAnne, if you don’t already have a juicer then I would say go ahead and use your Vitamix, the result be be more like a raw soup/smoothie consistency but I’m sure will taste good. When I posted this recipe I was actually on a juice feast.

  5. Hey Nic, just serve them my beet juice with the ginger in it. More potent than any vodka and guess what they will have no hanger over; what better way to purify there blood!

  6. Ok, I know I’m not right. My absolute first thought was to add vodka to this and serve them for our annual Mother’s Day Brunch! But hey, what better way to get my slacker friends and family into juicing?
