Drain the jackfruit and rinse, chop jackfruit into smaller pieces and place in a bowl.
Toss jackfruit pieces with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and Bragg's Liquid Aminos and set aside for 15 minutes while you prepare the vegetables and coleslaw (see notes).
In a large skillet, heat oil on medium heat, add onion and cook for 3 minutes. Add garlic and stir until fragrant, about a minute.
Stir in seasoned jackfruit, add vegetable broth and barbecue sauce. Cover and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Warm up slider buns or rolls, and cut into halves. Layer the bottom half with BBQ jackfruit, then add coleslaw. Place the other halves on top.
