  • 1 pound green beans fresh or frozen, cleaned and trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 medium onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste

Instructions

  • Place green beans in boiling water to cover, reduce heat to simmer for about 5 minutes until tender, and drain well. Set aside.
  • Heat oil on medium-high heat in a large pot or skillet and sauté onions until soft for about 3 minutes.
  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Add green beans, Italian seasoning, and salt and stir well to incorporate seasoning fully. Serve immediately!
