Easy Green Bean Recipe

Ingredients For Green Beans

  • Green beans: choose fresh for a crisp texture and vibrant color, or frozen for convenience without sacrificing too much flavor. Green beans are not only delicious but also packed with fiber, vitamins, and minerals, making them a healthy addition to any meal.
  • Olive Oil: A kitchen staple, olive oil is used for sautéing in this recipe. It provides a subtle, fruity backdrop that enhances the natural flavors of the other ingredients without overpowering them. Olive oil is also celebrated for its heart-healthy fats.
  •  Onion: Onion adds a depth of flavor that becomes sweet and aromatic once cooked. It’s an essential base that complements the earthiness of the green beans.
  •  Garlic: Garlic brings a pungent kick that intensifies the savory notes of the dish. It’s key to adding a zesty punch that pairs perfectly with the mildness of the green beans.
  • Italian Seasoning: This blend of dried herbs, such as oregano, thyme, and basil, infuses the beans with classic Italian flavors that are both comforting and aromatic.
  • Salt: Salt is crucial for enhancing all the flavors in the dish. It sharpens the taste profiles of the green beans, onion, and garlic, and helps to meld all the seasoning together.
