Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric or 1 tablespoon fresh turmeric grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or 3 drops stevia
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • Pinch of cardamom or 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Add almond milk, coconut milk, turmeric, and ginger to a medium-size saucepan over medium-high heat, whisk if using dried turmeric.
  • Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and strain the tea into a cup, add the maple syrup, vanilla, cayenne pepper, cardamom, and black pepper.
