  2. Hi Michelle. Thank you for sharing I am excited to start. Tomorrow I will start the detox. As I am detoxing should I be eating fruits and vegetables the whole time or just eat a healthy balance meal 3 times a day? Thank you

    1. Yvonne, that’s awesome, it’s up to you whether you want to eat only fruits and vegetables, bear in mind that doing this will work faster and you will have detox symptoms. Be mindful to stay hydrated, everyone’s body responds differently. If you do eat 3 balanced meals it will work but just slower. You can also read up on intermittent fasting. You can eliminate processed foods, oils, sugars but its really up to you. All the best.

    2. This is great… I’m really interested in knowing where you might be able to find the beautiful mug used in the photo?!

    1. Melanie, you can drink the tea as long as you want just drink for 3 weeks then take a break for about a week then continue this regimen monthly. Listen to your body and respond accordingly, make sure you are drinking enough water daily.

    Hi Michelle

I was recently having issues with my blood pressure increasing, weight gain/swelling, and muscle weakness, because I was off of my thyroid medication. My own fault long story. I will be back on my meds very soon thank goodness.

I saw your article about your detox tea. I started drinking it and within a few days my blood pressure was back to baseline, I even saw the swelling start to decrease. I was so amazed. I have saved this recipe to my favorites.

The tea actually tastes pretty good, I even drink it without any sweetener.

    Thank you for this recipe

Yes I am experiencing good results with my blood pressure.

While I do not have a blood pressure problem normally it’s only because I’m off of my thyroid medication. But I’m back to baseline.

On another note I tried your recipe for Callaloo Fritas. I actually made it into a muffin and baked it in the oven and they came out really yummy. Can’t wait to try some more of your other recipes.

        1. I’m glad to hear you are back to baseline. I love how you made the callaloo fritters into muffins and that’s awesome that they turned out good.
