Why Do I love Air Fryer Roasted Brussels Sprouts And Carrots?

As I mentioned earlier, I love oven-roasted brussels sprouts and carrots, and I have a huge collection of brussels sprouts and carrots recipes. However, these quick and easy air-fried Brussels sprouts and carrots are so easy to make that I hardly control not to eat them more frequently!

  • As compared to oven-roasted brussels sprouts and carrots, they need very little oil when I prepare them in the air fryer. They’re still crispy even with less oil.
  • It is quite easy to make a small batch in a matter of minutes.
  • I don’t have to wait for the oven to preheat; it’s significantly faster than the usual method of roasting brussels sprouts and carrots.
  • Finally, the veggies get an incredible crispy crust! Cooking them near the heating source provides them a lovely crusty exterior that is a bit difficult to achieve in the regular oven.
  • It’s a low-carb, low-calorie vegan, and vegetarian side dish.

I’m sure you’ll love these Air Fried roasted brussels sprouts and carrots as much as I do.

Secrets For Perfect Air Fryer Roasted Veggies!

Look at the following useful tips and tricks before proceeding to make air fryer roasted brussels sprout and carrots:

  • Try to use Brussels sprouts and carrots of equal size so that they all cook at the same time.
  • Remove the tough bottom core or stem of the brussels sprout. Remove the dull, old-looking outer layers. Depending on your Brussels sprouts size, cut them into halves or quarters.
  • Season well with salt, garlic, and olive oil to bring out the flavor of the veggies.
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket with veggies. The veggies will turn out soggy and less crispy if the basket is overcrowded.
  • Raw Brussels sprouts and carrots will have crispy edges when cooked in the air fryer. If you prefer them to be tender, you can par-boil them first.
  • If you’re par-boiling the vegetables first, cook them for around 4 minutes in boiling water. Then carry on with the air-frying procedure. Par-boiling softens and cooks them through the center a little more.
  • Cooking times will vary based on the size of the veggies and how well you like them cooked. I like them brown, crispy, and tender.
