  • Cashews: The main ingredient needed for this recipe is cashews. This ingredient is responsible for adding creaminess to this vegan dressing. Cashews are loaded with nutrients and therefore are very healthy. To get a creamy and smooth texture from the dressing, soak it in water for at least 4 hours. Or you can boil them for about 3 minutes. When you soak them, they get soft and tender, and as a result, the dressing gets creamy.
  • Capers: Capers are small unripe flower buds. These are easily available in the grocery store. These come in jars with brine. Capers have an earthy and salty flavor. Their flavor resembles olives as well. They add a punch of flavor to the dressing.

Step 1: First of all, soak the raw cashews up water for about four to6 hours. If you don’t have enough time, boil them in water for about 3 minutes to soften them up.

Step 2: Add cashews in a high-speed blender along with capers, tahini, lemon juice, water, and salt.

Step 3: Blend at high speed for a minute or until you get a creamy texture. You can add more water to adjust the consistency of the dressing.

Step 4: Once done, pour it into a mason jar. Use as required and store the rest in the refrigerator.

Variation ideas
