10 Amazing Benefits of Juicing Raw Fruits and Vegetables

Have you ever found yourself feeling fatigued, bloated or just unable to control your appetite? Or maybe you’ve been struggling with health issues, chronic or mysterious, that just would not resolve? You know what I have been there!

Some years ago, I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome. My wrist was very painful, I had numbness which kept me up at night. I had to wear a wrist splint, especially at night. After receiving my second steroid shot in the wrist, I decided that I would not return to have the third.

I heard how juicing fruits and vegetables flood the body with nutrients that empowers your body to heal and I decided to give it a try. Another time juicing came to my rescue was when I needed to lose weight. My ideal weight is 140 lbs, but sometimes I have found the needle on the scale brushing over my ideal. So I put myself on a juicing program to see what would happen.

Here Are The Results: 10 Amazing Benefits of Juicing Raw Fruits and Vegetables

10 Amazing Benefits of Juicing Raw Fruits and Vegetables

Fat Burner Juice

Ingredients:

  • 6 carrots
  • a handful of kale or other green leafy vegetables
  • 1 lemon

Directions:

Wash the above ingredients thoroughly and cut into small pieces that can be fitted into your juicer. Put the leaves in first, the carrots and lemon will help to push the leaves through the juicer. Drink your juice right away for maximum potency or store into a glass jar with an airtight lid to conserve its nutrients for up to 24 hours.

Now that you are juicing so many fruits and vegetables, you may want to know the best way to clean them. Organically grown produce is always the best, but organic or not (as your budget allows) this is a fruit and vegetable wash to take away all the nasties from your juice.

Michelle’s Fruit and Vegetable Wash

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp lemon (optional)

Direction:

Fill a clean sink or basin with water. Add vinegar and salt. Soak fruits and vegetables for 30 minutes then rinse.

I watched the movie, Fat, Sick and nearly Dead (free on Youtube at the time) and it got me interested in juicing. I found the benefits to be amazing. I juice every morning and sometimes in the afternoon.

I juice 2 red apples and 2-3 carrots sticks in the morning and I find it to be a very invigorating experience.

I recommend watching the movie, every eye opening and inspirational.

You can wash and portion out your fruits and veggies and keep them in containers to save preparation time. Juice can be stored in glass jars with tight fitting lids for two days. Yes you loose some of the nourishment but not all. Do your best to keep up the juicing. All the best…

Thankyou Michelle for the site. Thankyou users for sharing your experiences with us all. i watched the film fat sick and nearly dead i was impressed with the good that Joe did and his mate in America. i bought a hand opperated juicer made out of stainless steel from Vitality 4 Life in Queensland it cost two hundred and fifteen dollars. i sort of don’t trust electrical gadgets and boiling prawns when it comes down to survival.i was suprised at how easy it was to use on hard vegetables and fruit. i have always had a place to grow vegetables but i always had too much produce for myself. now i need more. i buy seeds from rangeview seeds in Tasmania. i believe that we were all born in God’s image. I beleive that we can all cure ouselves of any sickness. i believe that juicing is a way to eat some healthy food.i’ve had my juicer for three days now and i feel full of energy. might need to see what Michelle writes for recipes, knowledge and wisdom. thanks .

Hi, I have started juicing few months ago, however only couple times a week, as the clean up is a pain and i get so easily fed up with it. Can I make more juice in one go and bottle it, would it keep in a fridge for a day or two or would it loose all the goodness?

I have noticed that no one has mentioned juicing tomatoes. Since I am new to this, it may be a stupid question. But is there a reason behind not juicing with tomatoes?

Well, I have been juicing for a week and never felt as tired before in my life.
    If there’s a benefit I haven’t seen anything yet.

I usually buy organic fruits and just give a go on my new juicer. It is better to use loss grapes and carrots as they give intense natural high.

Thank you for the motivation Michelle. My wife and I have been on a juice fast for 4 days. Today is really the first day I am not consumed by depression and intense food cravings that could only be compared to a junkie coming off of drugs. Last night was the best night sleep I can remember. I popped out of the rack at 6am like I had overslept. We did a fast last year for ten days and I went right back to pizza beer and junk. This time I think I will take my time with it and try for a month or maybe two. My wife says she would like to veggie feast after a week but I think I would really benefit from a sustained juicing fast.
