Instructions for Storing Bacon-Wrapped Green Beans
Bacon-wrapped green beans are an easy way to produce a week’s worth of meals in one sitting. Just follow the few steps:
Store — Bacon-Wrapped Green Beans can be stored in an airtight container or simply covered with cling wrap in the baking dish.
Refrigerate – They can keep for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
Freeze – If you don’t plan to eat them within a few days, you can freeze them. However, blanch them beforehand because raw vegetables get mushy when frozen.
Thaw – Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before serving the next day.
Reheating – Reheat by following the instructions below and serve.
Instructions for Reheating
Oven – Reheat for 1-2 minutes on medium power in the microwave or until warm.
Stove – Drizzle a small amount of oil into a pan and cook on medium-low until well heated.
Air fryer – Reheat the air fryer at 350°F for 5-7 minutes.
Recipe Notes
- To achieve the finest results, use fresh green beans.
- French green beans are a good option. These are the long, slim beans you see at the market, packed in a plastic bag.
- Remember to blanch them. This method will keep your green beans crisp. Blanching also preserves the vivid green color and nutritious content of your vegetables.
- I use eggplant bacon. Eggplant is my favorite, but other kinds of bacon will also work.
- Make sure you don’t overcook your bacon when you’re pre-cooking them. Cook until they are slightly browned on the side but remain soft and rollable.
- For this recipe, avoid using thick-cut eggplant bacon. Thicker bacon is my favorite, but baking it takes too long, and the underside remains uncooked.
- You can try several flavors, such as garlicky, sweet, spicy, and cheesy. Choose from a variety of options!
- You can, of course, utilize your air fryer as a shortcut. Preheat the oven to 370º F and bake the bacon for 10-15 minutes, or until crispy.
Take some time to sit, dine, and enjoy life with one another. And, make these Vegan Bacon Wrapped Green Beans. I hope you like it. Also, don’t forget to share your feedback in the comment section below! Have fun cooking!
