Air Fryer Falafel Salad Bowl
Air Fryer Falafel Salad Bowl requires less oil than frying. However, your falafel will taste just as flavorful, and they will still be crunchy on the outside and moist inside. Not to mention the easy cleanup afterward. It is best to prepare the falafel, tzatziki sauce, or tahini sauce, and hummus ahead of time.

What Is Falafel?
Falafel is made traditionally by grinding soaked chickpeas, adding herbs, spices, rolling into balls, and deep-frying in oil.

How To Prepare Falafel In An Air Fryer?
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper, spray with cooking spray or brush with cooking oil.
- Add chickpeas to the food processor with cilantro, parsley, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pulse.
- The mixture shouldn’t be processed until smooth but still grainy but able to stick together.
- Scoop out tablespoon sizes of falafel mixture and roll in between the palm of your hands into balls.
- Place in a single layer on the parchment paper-lined air fryer. Spray with cooking spray.
- Bake at 350 for 15 minutes turning halfway.
- Repeat until all the mixture is used up.
- You should get around 10 large falafels or 24 smaller ones. I did smaller ones so I could have leftovers.

How To Assemble Falafel Salad?
To serve falafel salad, divide the lettuce into two bowls, arrange falafel, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, olive on top. Drizzle with vegan tzatziki sauce and serve.
How To Store Leftover Falafels?
Place leftover falafel in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator to 4-5 days or freeze for about 1 month in an airtight freezer bag.
