Avocado Lime Popsicles
I love popsicles that are creamy because they remind me of my childhood love for what we called ‘fudge’ in Jamaica. They were more like ice cream made into popsicles.
If you love the flavor of lime, then you will most definitely enjoy my Vegan Key Lime Pie, Chipotle Lime Crema, and Vegan Cilantro Lime Dressing.
Avocado Lime Popsicles Ingredients
- Avocado: Avocado is the star of these popsicles, providing a creamy texture and a rich, buttery flavor. Its healthy fats help to create a smooth and indulgent consistency, perfect for a frozen treat.
- Banana: Banana adds natural sweetness and a soft texture, enhancing the creaminess of the popsicles. It pairs well with the avocado, balancing its subtle flavor without overwhelming it.
- Coconut Cream: Thick and rich, coconut cream contributes to the luxurious texture of the popsicles. It offers a hint of tropical flavor that complements the other ingredients beautifully.
- Maple Syrup: A natural sweetener, maple syrup provides a subtle, earthy sweetness that enhances the overall taste of the popsicles. It’s a healthier alternative to refined sugars and works perfectly to adjust sweetness according to taste.
- Lime Juice: The freshness of lime juice cuts through the richness of the avocado and coconut cream, adding a bright, tangy flavor that makes the popsicles refreshing and light.
- Lime Zest: Lime zest brings an aromatic, zesty kick to the popsicles, intensifying the lime flavor and adding depth. The zest ensures that the vibrant lime character stands out in every bite.
Last summer, my son Daevyd requested lots of popsicles, so I made them in many different flavors. They were healthy and better than the sugar-laden ones in the grocery stores.
Below he was having a watermelon popsicle made from watermelon alone.

How To Make Coconut Cream from Canned Coconut Milk
- For this recipe, to make coconut cream I refrigerated a can of coconut milk for 8 hours or overnight.
- The following morning, I opened the can, while being careful not to shake.
- I then scoop out the thick cream that’s on top of the can, reserving the liquid to add to curries later on.

Добро пожаловать, надеюсь, вы попробуете.
I’m wondering if you have an idea to substitute the banana in this recipe? My kiddo “hates” bananas 🙄 but I think would otherwise love these.
You can leave the banana out, I hope you enjoy!
Thanks for the recipe
Eric you are welcome.
When the recipe calls for 1 lime zest, is that the zest of one whole lime?
Thanks!
Yes it is the zest of one lime.
