Say goodbye to excess fat and cholesterol with these healthier vegan sausage patties. Vegan sausage patties are a great item to have on hand for quick breakfast or dinner options. They cook in about 5 minutes and give you that delicious texture of sausage, without all the added fat.

These vegan sausage patties are something that I have wanted to make for a long time since I don’t like to buy products made with processed ingredients. There’s no need to buy expensive sausage patties from the store when you can make them yourself at home, and there are a few simple steps to making these. They’re healthy and quite delicious.

Starting the day with a vegan sausage patty for breakfast, in my opinion, is a terrific way to start the day. Who wouldn’t want to start their day with a flavorful breakfast that’s high in protein and nutrients? The sound of sizzling and the smell of food wakes up my family’s sleepiest member when I cook in a skillet with a deliciously unique glaze.

It’s even more delicious than the actual thing and far healthier, which means you may eat it daily. Like a burger with veggies and some bread, I eat it for lunch or dinner as well.

This dish has the benefit of being able to be prepared in advance and then frozen for later use. There is nothing to do but reheat them when I wake up in the morning. This is a game-changer! It saves me a lot of time and ensures that I have something nutritious to eat first thing in the morning. Definitely a win-win situation!

Sausage patties are not a mystery. I’ll show you how to make your own handmade sausage patties, which are packed with good stuff and bursting with great flavor. They are easy to make at home and can be served in a variety of ways, such as with pancakes or eggs, pasta or bread, or even just by themselves, dipped in ketchup.

Serving Suggestions

It goes well with:

  • Scrambled Tofu
  • Fresh berries
  • Bread
  • Almond flour biscuits
  • With noodles
  • In salads
  • And with what not!

Leftover Storage

The leftovers can be kept for 3-4 days in the refrigerator, in an airtight container. Microwave them on 50% power for a few minutes to warm them up.

These patties can be made ahead of time and stored for quick and simple midweek lunches. Make sure to separate the patties with wax paper or parchment paper, so they don’t stick together.

Recipe Tips

  • Feel free to add or substitute other herbs or spices.
  • More breadcrumbs can be added if the dough is too sticky. It’s best to add some water if it’s too dry.
  • The sausage mixture will not stick to your hands if you wet your hands before you form the patties.
  • If you’re not gluten-free, you can use regular breadcrumbs.
  • Instead of olive oil, butter can be used to fry the patties. It’s delicious!

These Vegan Sausage Patties are a great addition to your repertoire if you’re looking to get more protein in your diet. The texture of the tofu and the seasonings add tons of flavor to this recipe. Enjoy!
