How To Cut Cabbage
- 1 Remove Damaged outer leaves
- 2 Wash Cabbage under cold running water, dry.
- 3 Cut the cabbage in half with the core side down from top to bottom, and apply pressure at the top of the knife.
- 4 Cut cabbage halves into two.
- 5 Hold the cabbage wedge with your fingers and start cutting it into strips. or chopping.
- 6 Place cabbage in water, and add about 1 teaspoon of salt. Let it soak for a minute.
- 7 Pour cabbage strips into a colander and rinse under cold running water. Drain cabbage.
