Our neighbors are gifting us plenty from their garden, more than you could imagine, and guess what, I really don’t mind because I love cabbage and it is so good for our health.

How To Cut Cabbage

  • 1 Remove Damaged outer leaves
  • 2 Wash Cabbage under cold running water, dry.
  • 3 Cut the cabbage in half with the core side down from top to bottom, and apply pressure at the top of the knife.
  • 4 Cut cabbage halves into two.
  • 5 Hold the cabbage wedge with your fingers and start cutting it into strips. or chopping.
  • 6 Place cabbage in water, and add about 1 teaspoon of salt. Let it soak for a minute.
  • 7 Pour cabbage strips into a colander and rinse under cold running water. Drain cabbage.
