Cauliflower is one of my favorite vegetables, and I enjoy cooking with it. Its mild flavor makes it an ideal canvas for seasonings of your choice. Cauliflower becomes exceptionally excellent when cooked in an air fryer because the air circulates over the edges, browning and crisping them.

This air fryer cauliflower recipe is one of the simplest recipes than other air fryer recipes, and it’s a fantastic way to eat cauliflower! Air-fried cauliflower is gently browned on the outside and soft in the center. It’s seasoned with garlic and salt for a lot of flavor in every bite!

 

Your food will have less fat and calories when you use an air fryer instead of deep-frying. This is a way to achieve the same crunchy crispness in all dishes without using any oil. For me, it’s been a game-changer. If you did not make it already, you would fall in love with these crunchy air fryer cauliflowers.

This is, without a doubt, one of the healthiest vegan appetizers. This recipe is so adaptable that it may be added to a Buddha bowl, salads, cauliflower soup, or served as a side dish with dal rice.

Yes. You can enjoy this low-carb vegetable. It has 1.5 net carbohydrates per half cup, so you may consume a reasonable amount of it and maintain ketosis. 

It does have a number of qualities that may aid in weight loss, but it isn’t a comprehensive diet on its own.

Directions

  1. Spray or brush Air Fryer Basket with olive oil
  2. Toss cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Place cauliflower florets in a single layer on the Air Fryer basket.
  4. Roast in the air Fryer at 380 degrees F for 20 minutes, turning halfway.

Leftover Storing Suggestions

Air-fried cauliflower leftovers can be refrigerated for 3-4 days in an airtight container. They also freeze well. Simply place the cooled cauliflower florets in a freezer-safe container or bag and freeze for up to 3 months.

Although it can be reheated by cooking it in the oven at 350°F for a few minutes or air fry it for a few minutes.

Extra Seasoning Ideas

  • Paprika, Italian spice, taco seasoning, Cajun seasoning, or curry powder are some alternative ingredients to try.
  • After roasting, fresh herbs like parsley or thyme can be added. You also add lemon juice.

  1. You should preheat your air fryer before putting the cauliflower florets if your model needs it.
  2. When cooking cauliflower in an air fryer, you may need to control the temperature and duration accordingly.
  3. Because cauliflower can burn quickly in the air fryer, therefore check it and shake the basket every 5 minutes.
  4. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket with cauliflower florets; otherwise, they will turn out soggy and less crispy.
  5. You can air fry the cauliflower in multiple batches for the crispiest results.
  6. You’ll probably have to cook in batches if you only have a tiny air fryer.
  7. The cauliflower tastes nicer when some oil is used and crisps up more quickly. The recipe calls for olive oil, but you can substitute whatever light-flavored oil you like, such as avocado, grapeseed, or grapeseed oil.
  8. If you want to make it more interesting, you can add potatoes, carrots, or beans.
