Kohlrabi is a cabbage-like vegetable that belongs to the same family that wild cabbage. The German turnip is another name for it. You should carefully clip and peel kohlrabi before slicing or shredding it to add to a salad, or before cooking, boiling, steaming, or roasting it. Kohlrabi’s sweet, peppery flavor profile, which is comparable to that of broccoli stems.                     

Kosher Pickles

Dill pickles and kosher pickles are almost indistinguishable; however, the distinction lies in the use of garlic in kosher pickles, which dill pickles lack. Kurrat, also termed Egyptian leek, is a delicious vegetable from the Alliaceae family. You can cook the entire plant and use it as a salad topping.
