How To Make Golden Milk Turmeric Tea
It is so easy to prepare golden milk turmeric tea, heat the non-dairy milk in a saucepan along with ginger and turmeric, bring to a boil and simmer.
Remove from heat and strain the tea into a cup, add the maple syrup, vanilla, cayenne pepper, and cardamom.
I made one adjustment to my recipe from traditional recipes.
- I used cayenne pepper instead of black pepper, it is believed that black pepper increases the bioavailability of the turmeric more than cayenne pepper. However cayenne pepper does help. so personally I prefer cayenne because, on its own, it has way more health benefits than black pepper. Also, it is not necessary to include the black pepper in the drink if you eat black pepper in other meals
