Have you ever tried Roasted Green Beans? If you haven't as yet, they are so delicious and a must try. Although I love to lightly steam my green beans, at times I love to do a fancy recipe such as green bean casserole around the holidays or this easy roasted green beans recipe.

A great side dish that will have everyone coming back for seconds. This time of year fresh green beans is popular even though green beans are available year round. They are actually easy to grow, so if you are new at gardening or don't consider yourself having a green-thumb, then green bean is one of the plants you should definitely start with.

How To Make Roasted Green Beans

It is so easy to make oven roasted green beans, trim the top of the green beans and rinse. Drain in a colander and add to a large bowl, toss with olive oil, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Place in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Roast in a preheated oven, Remove from oven and toss with a mixture of Bragg's liquid aminos, lemon juice, maple syrup and sesame oil. Serve immediately. You can also try my Vegan Southern Green Beans and Potatoes and Easy Green Bean Recipe.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 425 degrees.
  2. Place green beans in a medium bowl and toss with olive oil, garlic and Italian seasoning.
  3. Place in a single layer on parchment line baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until desired crispness.
  5. Meanwhile in a small bowl combine, liquid aminos, lemon juice, maple syrup, and sesame oil.
  6. Place roasted green beens in a bowl and toss with liquid ingredients. Serve immediately.
