Not many people know this, but there are different types of broccoli. You have possibly seen these different types before in a grocery store or a farmer’s market, but they wouldn’t have looked much like broccoli. They are usually leafier, blue-green colored, skinnier, and sometimes even resemble vegetables like cauliflower.

How to Freeze Broccoli?

I simply love broccoli, and I can happily eat it each day every day for the rest of my life. But unfortunately, fresh broccoli is not available throughout the season. The peak freshness level is reached from October till April. So, what to do during the rest of the months? The answer is simple, you preserve it! well, of course, we are not going to dehydrate it. In fact, I’ll tell you how to freeze broccoli so that when you use it, it is just as fresh as it was before you freeze it.

Like most other vegetables, you can easily freeze broccoli. If you follow the right freezing procedure, you will get results that ensure flavor, color, texture, and freshness. The procedure is super simple and it shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes. you can freeze broccoli is large batches so that you can use it for soups, stir-fries, roasted vegetables, and what not!

Broccoli curry is an excellent example of how tasty vegetarian foods can be. Even if someone dislikes broccoli, they will surely love to have it. This curry is incredibly appetizing that only takes 30 minutes to prepare fully. 

I tasted this broccoli curry dish many times and decided to add it to my cookbook and knew it had to be share with you! It is a bit spicy with a delicious combination of coconut milk; what a delightful combo! 

Vegan Broccoli Salad

Take plain old broccoli to the next level with this Vegan Broccoli Salad. It is made of roasted broccoli florets, with a creamy avocado basil dressing.

This delicious Vegan Broccoli Salad is not only delicious but also healthy and filling. I served it with a creamy basil dressing that has avocado and lemon.

It is a great salad for detoxing, especially for someone on phase 1 of the candida diet (omit maple syrup). I enjoyed the combination of broccoli with creamy avocado and the crunchy sunflower seeds. This salad was very enjoyable, and can’t wait to make it again.
