This gluten-free graham cracker crust has a graham cracker flavor that is buttery. It tastes like a traditional graham cracker crust.
Without baking, the texture is a little crumbly and buttery. This crust is firm and crunchy with baking.
Ingredients For Graham Cracker Pie Crust
- Graham Crackers: I used home. You can follow my recipe Gluten-Free Vegan Graham Crackers.
- Vegan Butter: I used Earth Balance butter.
- Maple Syrup: You can substitute it with sorghum molasses, molasses, or agave.
How To Make Graham Cracker Crust?
To start, take about 12 sheets of graham crackers and place in a food processor, and process until crumbly or you can put the graham crackers in a ziplock bag, close the bag and use a rolling pin to crumble until the crackers resemble breadcrumbs.
You should have approximately 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs, you might need to process more graham crackers.
Place the graham cracker crumbs in a medium bowl, add 4 tablespoons melted vegan butter and 2 tablespoons maple syrup, and stir.
Press the crumbs evenly at the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Make sure to press the crumbs mixture hard enough to make it compact.
Now your graham cracker crust is ready you can add filling after chilling the crust for an hour or you can bake it in a preheated oven for 10 minutes. Cool then add your filling and top with Coconut Whipped Cream.

I still suggest baking the crust bare for no-bake dishes like ice cream cake or raw cheesecake. After that, let it completely cool before adding the filling.
This crust will be much more durable once baked. It may be a little crumbly if not baked.
