Air Fryer Jerk Plantain Chips
Plantains can be eaten ripe and green, for a recipe with ripe plantain try my Baked Plantains recipe. I used green plantain to prepare jerk plantain chips instead of the ripe plantains. I love jerk flavors and I have quite a few jerk recipes for you to try, Jamaican Jerk Cauliflower, Jerk Tofu and Jamaican Jerk Butternut Squash Fries.
I recently purchased some green plantains to make plantain chips after eating and falling in love with Jerk-Style Plantain Chips. Trader Joe’s jerk plantain chips had the perfect blend of sweet and spicy with the perfect jerk seasoning blend.

Air Fryer Jerk Plantain Chips Recipe
We have been so busy here at the campground, with events back to back. I’m so surprised that I have been able to keep up with creating new recipes in the midst of all that’s going around me.
My hubby recently bought me an Air-fryer and I have been slowly creating new recipes that I will be sharing with you. Recently I made Air Fryer Cauliflower Hash Browns and they were awesome, crisp on the outside and moist inside.
We have had over 7000 guests for the past 3 weeks and tomorrow as thousands leave we have another group for the next two weeks This is so exciting and I look forward yearly for these events. For the last 3 years, I have been blessed to do catered events and cooking classes.

Tips For Making Air Fryer Jerk Plantain Chips
- Adjust the sugar and pepper according to your taste, I find the sugar is important to balance the bitterness of the allspice. You can even hold the sugar before baking and sprinkle it on the baked chips.
