My Vegan Cabbage Soup recipe has always been a popular recipe on here, so I decided to make a similar flavorful cabbage recipe as a stew but this time includes homemade Gluten-Free Vegan Sausage.

Vegan Cabbage And Sausage
This vegan cabbage and sausage recipe turned out to be exactly what I expecting. The mind-blowing cabbage stew is made with onion, garlic, celery, carrot, potatoes, Creole seasoning, and Italian seasoning. The beauty is that I add my own Gluten-Free Vegan Sausage, which is made from scratch.
Cabbage and Sausage can be served alone or with Brown Jasmine Rice. My family enjoyed it so much, I made it two days in a row.

How To Make Cook Vegan Cabbage And Sausage?
- Prepare sausage. If you make your own sausage, it’s best to make it ahead of time and chill so that it will be able to be firm and easier to slice. Refrigerate homemade sausage for at least 2 hours.
- Remove sausage from the refrigerator. Using a sharp knife, make slices about 1/4 of an inch wide.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add sausages and cook on both sides until brown and crisp on the outsides, about 4 minutes. Remove from saucepan and set aside.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of oil, stir in onion, garlic, celery, and thyme, and cook until onion is soft about 3 minutes.
- Stir in carrots, potatoes, cabbage, Italian seasoning, and Creole seasoning to coat. Keep stirring until cabbage is wilted. Add vegetable broth and continue to stir.
- Bring to a boil, cover saucepan and reduce to simmer for 15 minutes. Add sausage and salt to taste, cook for about 3 minutes.
