Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes
The incredibly delicious potatoes are golden, soft inside, and crispy on the outside. Serve them as a side dish or quick dinner, topped with a chopped Oatmeal burger or Gluten-Free Vegan Sausage, drizzled with Vegan Nacho Cheese Sauce, and Guacamole.
I just got a new Air Fryer, I consider it an upgrade. I needed an air fryer with a larger basket and this Cuisinart Air Fryer/Toaster Oven/Convection Oven was the answer. I’m so in love with it, it has a larger basket than my older model! I use it all the time, check out my Air Fryer Plantains, Fries, Kale Chips recipes!
Ingredients For Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes
Baby Potatoes – baby potatoes are creamy when roasted, they are also easy to prep, you just wash, dry them, and cut them into halves. You don’t need to peel your potatoes, after all the skin contains lots of nutrients. Obviously, if you don’t have baby potatoes then you can substitute them with mature potatoes, cut into quarters, I love Yukon Gold for its buttery flavor.
Olive Oil – I love the fruity flavor of olive oil with the herbs and garlic, you can substitute with avocado or grapeseed oil though. You can either brush the oil on the potatoes or use cooking spray. The oil makes the potatoes golden, crispy, and shiny. Make sure you dry the potatoes properly after you wash them.
Salt – I use Himalayan pink salt, and sea salt is great.
Garlic Powder – adds a great flavor to your roasted potatoes.
Paprika – adds a lovely color and flavor to the potatoes.
Italian Seasoning – love the herb combination in Italian seasoning blends. You can prepare your own Homemade Italian Seasoning Blend.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS
Are Air Fryer Roast Potatoes Healthy?
Oh yes, they are healthier, you get to use less oil or none at all, therefore you end up with far fewer calories than fried potatoes. The result is the same crispy edges and golden brown potatoes too.
Why Are My Roast Potatoes Not Crispy?
More than likely you didn’t dry your potatoes enough after you washed them, you might just need to cook them longer for another 5 minutes but make sure to keep your eyes on them.
How Do you Keep Roast Potatoes Hot And Crispy?
Make sure you do not cover your finished roasted potatoes, the moisture released will make them soggy. Leave them on a tray uncovered. When you are ready to serve your potatoes, slip them in the air fryer for about 2 minutes at 380 degrees F.
Can You Cut Potatoes Ahead Of Time Before Roasting?
Yes, you can cut your potatoes, leave them in cold water for up to a couple of hours on the counter or in the fridge overnight. The water will actually help to remove some of the starch, this helps you to make crispy potatoes.
How To Reheat Leftover Roasted Potatoes?
Place potatoes in the air fryer and cook for 2-5 minutes to reheat them.
How To Serve Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes?
Serve them with:
Other Potato Dishes To Prepare
